Vi, initially an Enforcer who became a fugitive after breaking into prison to find her missing sibling, found herself stranded between two worlds. Her path crossed with Caitlyn Kiramman, a Piltovan enforcer seeking justice for her father's death and the chem-baron murders. Simultaneously, Ekko led the Firelights, a Zaunite resistance group protecting their sector from Silco's aggression. The convergence occurred when Vi realized she could not save Powder alone against Silco's army. Caitlyn saw an opportunity to stop the chem-fuel trade, while Ekko understood that Silco threatened all of Zaun. Despite their differing backgrounds and methods—law enforcement versus vigilante justice—they united under a shared goal: dismantle Silco's operation before the city burned completely.
